I am not sure if we should have separate threads for Rothes and Mallachie. If people feel we should the best start them right away.
The first data has been published on Google Earth and immediately it is amazing how much further Rothes has flown that Mallachie.

This is what it looks like on GE
After her path through Africa nothing would surprise me if it comes to Rothes.... but I really but be relieved somehow if it was an error
Cats and women will do as they please. Dogs and men should relax and get used to it.
That point in Italy is supposed to be for 4th July. She is shown to back at the Sturgeon farm on 5th July. No return journey is shown so it must be a rogue point. Remember when she "went" way far once. I forget where now.
Its an error in the coordinates in the kml file. She was still at the sturgeon farm on 5th JUly.
thanks for you inquiries Alan and Tiger... the fish farm is a good place to be, so I'm very glad to know she's there and not somewhere near the alps
Yes that is a point. Do ospreys fly over the Alps?
Well Roy Dennis reported on Logie's 2008 Spring migration that she flew over the Atlas mountains, though she did do a dog leg to avoid the highest ones that reached 4000ft. He does mention in there that at one point she flew at over 3000ft over land in Senegal and was wondering why. He thought it might be to get a better view.

Sorry Tiger I digressed. I'm sure some must fly over the Alps but haven't found anything yet.

There was the youngest chick from the Glaslyn nest last year spotted over Zurich. I wonder where he went after that:

Yes I remember doing a cartoon about that Alan.
