I am not sure if we should have separate threads for Rothes and Mallachie. If people feel we should the best start them right away.
The first data has been published on Google Earth and immediately it is amazing how much further Rothes has flown that Mallachie.

I wonder if holding the Alt key down and clicking on O would work It used to work with D when the Done key wasn't visible.
I might even give it a try and report back.
Reporting back. I just deleted my network link and tried again using ALT + O key instead of OK. It worked.

Where was the cursor when you tried it.
Thanks John
P.S I have uninstalled goole earth 5 and installed ge4.3 and the dropdown box still disappears off the bottom of my screen.

I have GE 5 so don't know whether that makes any difference.
I'd have thought it would work no matter where the cursor was but I had the cursor in the part of the window under Description
Just been checking last year's posts to get an inkling when migration might begin. The departures were:
EJ: Last seen delivering a fish to the nest at 10.30 AM on14th August.
OVS (last year's male): Devoured a fish at 1.46 PM on 15th August. Never seen again.
Both Nethy and Deshar started migration sometime on 20th August.
So we are off with Rothes making her move. I am looking forward to the maps being updated at 7pm.
It seems that Rothes has started her migration without ever having caught a fish.

Last year neither Nethy nor Deshar had learned to fish when they started on their migrations. We were worried because it was 5 days since they had eaten when they left. Some one used GE and found Deshar on his migration and took a picture of him. He had a full crop so he had clearly learned to fish. When they get hungry enough they learn to fish on their own

Maps now updated. Very fascinating.
LG has updates Google Earth on the home page and it shows Rothes half way down through the UK. Wow she has traveled a great distance in just two days!! At this rate she will be in Africa in two weeks or so. That girl is definitely on a mission to get to her destination.
Yes but she seems to have doubled back on herself a few times.
