Weekly Chat, Sunday February 6, 2011

Hi everyone.

Welcome to another week.  A week that brings us closer to the return of the Ospreys.  Hooray!

Happy Sunday!

Paul.

Warning!  This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar.  Approach with extreme edginess.

  • TERRY  Unfortunately no further reductions in Tiso yet but OH still lives in hope as Thurs is usually their promotions day.

  • GEORGE I am so pleased to hear that so far so good and that you have been enjoying walking together. Walked back from chemist and bumped into someone I used to see from a distance on dog walk. I knew he was not fond of other dogs but is also unsure of people as well and no wonder. His first owners lay in bed most of the weekend and literally threw anything at him when he made a mess. Second home more or less the same. New owner great for first year and then decided he liked partying and tied dog outside all night. Neighbours didn't complain to him but would throw bottles and bricks at dog to shut him up.   New owner said it was her OH who was keen to help the dog (a beautiful BC) so he is now well walked and loved but his background has left him with a few problems.

  • WENDY  I know what you mean. I really do not mind ironing, but hate getting out the ironing board and putting it away again.

  • WENDY   see your second ironing post and I am like you. Ironing cannot be left overnight. It just has to be done the minute it is iron dry.

  • DJOAN   like you I prefer to go to charity shops in town or make sure the doorstep bags are for our home based charities .

  • I have just taken these about 10 minutes ago

  • ALICAT  Thanks for the captures of Phoebe and babies. They are so huge and it is funny to see them trrying to get the uppermost position in the nest. I guess they will be gone soon.

Hi dibnlib, they say on phoebes site that fledging is 8/2-18/2 but as you can see no fledging as yet

  • George -  so glad to hear all is well with Diesel.

OG - I used to blog as Trish. Can't remember what happened now I think maybe it was when we changed internet and my email changed or something but I think I had to register again.  Anyway another Trish may pop up sometime!

Patriciat - it's a shame not all dog owners are as responsible.  Mia's microchipped too - it's funny though because it's moved and I can feel it in her shoulder.  I was pleased with how well she did at training the other night.  OH can't make agility this week and I can't decide whether to take her on my own.  It is at least the straight course week but speed is the issue!

Margo  - sorry to hear about the yobs.  They spoil it for everyone. Come summer time I bet Billy will be a permanent fixture in your garden basking in the sun - if we get some.

  • dibnlib  that is such a sad story about the BC but so glad he has now found a home where he well walked and loved.  No wonder he has a few problems but hopefully he will overcome them when he realises he is much wanted.
