Hi everyone.Welcome to another week. A week that brings us closer to the return of the Ospreys. Hooray!
Happy Sunday!Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hi folks, already three pages of chat. Another week beginning.
Gary - what a cute pic.
Alan - thanks for pic on eagle cam, some of them are fuzzy at times.
Lindybird - thanks for the Monday smiles as ever
Margobird - it certainly is a nuisance when you get folks who want to vandalize people's property for no apparent reason, get in touch with the authorities, and then when the arrive its too late, they've scarpered.
AQ - thinking of you all out there. You do seem to be suffering with all sorts of bad weather. Floods, Cyclone, and now forest fires which I understand happen at this time of the year but it is still devastating for those that loose everything.
dibnib, Annette, Diane, and all thanks for your news.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Took some pics of Phoebe feeding the youngsters last night etc. Not much action at Lily's den at the moment, but lovely pic of the Norfolk eagle sitting on her egg. On the third you can see the tongue coming out to feel, its so quick it took several attempts to capture it.
taken last night our time. LOtL a short while ago.
Norfolk eagle standing up , do hope the egg is hidden?? And eagle on the Sooner Lake site
I was panicking, it seems she just wanted a break. Now settled down again. Its obviously the norm.
Hi All: As usual been sitting on the sidelines enjoying chat, photos and general humour.
I have enjoyed the ironing board saga with Annette it sounds so big and beautiful. Mine is hidden and I love it. When we moved up here I went to choose kitchen without O.H. ( and that is a long story on its own) and I found one that was part of a drawer it is so cute plenty big enough and just folds in and out. OH nearly passed out when I told him how much it was...but hey ho my treat.
Quiet weekend but we did manage to get to the cinema to see The Kings Speech..thankyou all for reviews and it was brilliant.
A blizzard this morning had to be Inverness early so took the coast road longer but no snow and all melted by the time I got home.
When I am visiting youngest in Dorset I am also stopping in Bath for a few days with eldest so Margobird time will be a bit tight for a meet but will be down again in September so maybe then. Have you finalised trip up for your week at LG. If you need taxi service from either airport just let me know.
Dibnlib also looking forward to meeting up at Tiso and yes I will be at the gym in the morning for my spin. I have had my spies out and I might recognise you first...especially if you have your Northface jacket on!!!!!
Gary was a quiet one over having one of those adorable bundles of fluff. What he hasn't told you is her full kennel name... it starts with the breeeders name begins with D...then she is British Racing Green Toffee. It seems that there is going to be a car theme to their names. Well she was Miss Lime.
Busy two days ahead. Gym tomorrow morning and then OH wants to get tickets for the Heinekin Cup tie at MK.
Wed sees me out with dau for an 8am appointment at the hospital, OH will pick me up and he has appointment at doc's for a blood test. Then on to our Financial Advisor. Its all go.
Just caught these of Phoebe.
WENDY Green Northface gilet it is. See you Wed aft.
So, courier didn’t come till 3:30. No lunch out, so we scraped around and used up various endish bits of cheese and salad! Then OH had to go to local Tesco for shopping that we were not able to go out for (to Asda near Carlisle). I did ironing and other minor domestic stuff. Weather dried up during lunch – to the extent that back garden began to look dry – so now OH is out there with the pressure washer cleaning front strip of deck ready to treat it and then set up permanent planters beside arch for new honeysuckles – so ‘tis wet again! Should be dry day tomorrow so I think he hopes to work on it then – not sure how, as we have a hairdresser and dietician appointments!
Lindy –thanks for smiles. I don’t think you said how you both are – but maybe that comes later! Great poem for Annette!!
Trish 2 - decided I must give the number after your name in case the first Trish reappears as we get nearer to EJ’s arrival! When we had puppies, they ate two lots of kitchen floor covering and three newly planted apple trees, among other things!Margo – good to know your sister’s treatment has started. Good too that it doesn’t meet with Bank Holidays. When Son had his at age 9, he started before Easter, so missed Good Friday and Easter Monday, then making them up at the end, he missed another for May holiday, so had to add on yet another! (he had 30 treatments in all). Pleased you are coping with your leak and it hasn’t got worse. Enjoy your evenings out this week!
Terry – will post on your profile page re meeting up somewhere.
Dibnlib –pleased to see your strength is returning after the enforced break (no pun intended!). Enjoy your meeting with Wendy!
Wendy – liked the idea of the foldaway ironing board, but decided I couldn’t lose a food cupboard for it, so mine sits in the meter cupboard which is more like a broom cupboard to store all kinds of things. Pleased you got out and back safely this morning – Son says it hasn’t been too bad in Grantown this time around. Enjoy your meeting with Dibnlib – she and her OH are very friendly people!
Lynette – hope your busy week goes smoothly, especially medical appointments. Bea and Jay really look like Humming birds now! How long until they fledge?
Must feed the fish and then check on OH – going dark and haven’t seen him for a while!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
O.G. I only lost a drawer for the ironing board and as I am into this minimal sort of life as we are open plan I didn't mind.
The snow seemed to come over from the east coast via Huntly so your son was lucky. How is his job hunting going?
I had 6 weeks of radiotherapy in Raigmore Inverness 9 years ago...it fell on a bank holiday and they just carried on. I think that is beacause people come from the Highlands and Islands and have flights etc and to stop would be far too complicated.
Looking forward to hearing from George to see how rescue dog is getting on.
