Rutland Ospreys 2011

Still, Alan an irate mamma  Osprey with all those talons is certainly going to give such an intruder a very rude awakening !!!

Beautiful scene at Rutland Water and the cheeky little wagtail is back:

Oh Alan- you are right about the Egyptian Goose !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's made a nest within the Ospreys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh crummy

Those Egyptian geese at Rutland are really making themselves on the Osprey nest . Oh well. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Ospreys arrive.

After awefully fuzzy pics last year we are getting very clear ones this year.  All looks peaceful at Manton, calm water, ducks swimming , lovely late afternoon scene.
