Just back from RW where everything is going fine. Never seen 2 such relaxed ospreys. Both on the nest most of the time but 5R took time out to have a bath just off the far shore opposite the Shallow Water hide. He then spent the rest of the time preening on the perch in front of the poplars.
Chicks have been well fed this morning.

5R just caught enormous fish; so big he couldn't lift it out of water-instead he 'swam' to the nearby bund and is eating it there. Amazing!
