Hmmm, not sure about that, Alan. I think he'll wait until his missus turns up - she'll see them off!
He's probably still in a fish coma :)

She returned on the 5th April last year so he might have to get used to the tree if he waits!!! However I suspect he won't wait as he'll want to attract another female in case she doesn't return,
A seemingly peaceful morning at Manton Bay. The goose is incubating.

Just looked in at Manton Bay and Goosie is on her egg.
Alan - pleased to hear that 5R has returned home.

Oh OH --The goose "was" on her egg a few minutes ago . I walked away from the computer and now she is not there and there are a few feathers floating around. I saw two large birds in the distance and one was chasing the other
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Afternoon Barbara Jean maybe the eviction has taken place but I sort of feel sorry for the goose if that is the case. Hopefully she will find someone else and lay some more eggs.
I feel sorry for the goose too. There was no sign that the nest was taken. The Opsreys had not yet returned when she claimed the nest and laid her egg.
