Last year I was lucky enough to Visit the Osprey Centre 3 times during the year.

I managed to find accommodation at nearby Boat of Garten, found the easy cycle route to the Osprey Centre !

I am very much looking forward to the return of OUR ospreys :), waiting to see them arrive on the web cams, how many chicks will there be this year I wonder ?

Then it will be bags packed, Photographic equipment cleaned, and off we go again, Woohoo. ( that was a quick impersonation of the Strathspey steam engine ) that's fun too:)

Will the Red Squirrels be as cheeky ? Yep probably so :)

Tulloch Moor nearby is also a wonderful  place to spot the Roe Deer, however the Midges are Fierce !!

Look forward to chatting to the staff again soon.

Here is a picture of .... well.... I am sure you will know its location.

Happy New Year

I hope you do get up sometime soon Lindybird :)

If and when you do head up, give me a shout on here, and I can point you in the right direction for things to see and do nearby, including, Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers and Dolphins, which are nearbyish !!!

  • How kind!  Many thanks for the offer, Borderslass.  It won't be this year, unfortunately, as we have too much on (we are only semi retired & stlll busy here & there).
