HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates the day. I hope you all have a joyful, peaceful time.
My heart is with those who are missing loved ones during this holiday season.
Tonight is the longest night of the year. It's very cold here, and some snow is glistening in the moonlight. The wildlife are hibernating in their burrows.
Love and hugs to all.
Thanks Diane for starting another week. Thought I'd better pop in before the Christmas begins. Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to you Diane.
Felling a little down as its three years since Ray went into hospital and never returned home, always poignant at this time but life does go on . We are celebrating the day with son and his wife and my step Granddaughter and GGranddaughter as their family will be coming up from Bristol. Should be a lovely day watching Ava open her presents etc. Off to brothers on the Friday with a quiet day for Sue and I on Boxing Day.
Hope you are all going to be enjoying time with family and friends. May the Season be a happy and peaceful one for all of you. Of course we have to remember areas of concern and how people are coping with the changes.
Carol service on Sunday went well and we also listened to a poem on video, had a powerful message and will try and post it. Cherrio for now

How annoying, post didn't post. Hope all is OK with you all. Spending tomorrow with son and his wife plus our stepGranddaughter and GGranddaughter. Will be lovely to watch her open her presents. Off to Manchester on the Friday to see brother with a quiet day for Sue and I on Boxing Day.
Always poignant at this time of year as it is now 3 years since Ray went into hospital on Christmas Eve and unfortunately never came out.
To those who have lost loved ones, thoughts are with you.
A Peaceful New Year to you all.

This was included in our Carol Service last Sunday and it gives a powerful message.
We are at our Eldest's after a reasonable journey down here, & are now replete after enjoying a roast gammon meal.
No, Bonnie is not with us as it's not a very suitable location, apart from her being a bit underfoot here. She is with my OHS sister who will spoil her & she can play with Mabel her dog.
Amber is very excited about Santa's visit & at the same time worried that if she doesn't "believe" in him he won't come.
I hope everyone has a pleasant day tomorrow and enjoys some treats. I can't reply to everyone, I'm sorry - hope you manage the journey OK AQ, and have a good day.
It's very warm here for this time of year so we are going to be a bit cosy in our Christmas sweaters!!
I wish EVERYONE, posters & lurkers, a very happy and relaxing Christmas with your family & friends.
"Mummy, where did all these lovely toys come from?"
"Santa Claus brought them all."
"Did he bring everything . . . the football, the robot, the computer game . . . and everything?"
"Of course he did."
"So who buys all the things in the shops?"
