HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week.
Winter has arrived on my patch. We had 2.5 inches (6.35 centimeters) of snow with 40 mph wind gusts on Thursday. It has melted now.
I left a carrot in the opening of the groundhog's burrow before the storm, but he didn't eat it. He's probably gone into hibernation. I left his carrot, in case we get the brief warm up predicted for Sunday and Monday.
I laughed this morning. Even with the cold, there was a lone surviving super mosquito flying around my bedroom.
Love and hugs to everyone!
AQ how lovely, you must be so proud.
HEATHER a beautiful book but also sad.
RUSTY She will not have it that she is anything special and keeps reminding us she has had some bad moments. If anyone is interested the op is called 0ssiointegration.
dibnlib - I looked up ossiointegration. Sounds very cutting edge and amazing. I have been following your friend's progress ever since her accident, and can't be more amazed about how she has coped, both physically and mentally. She is a very special person - whatever she says.
Heather - I remember really enjoying 'Ring of Bright Water' - lovely book. Then I played golf on a fairly small course in Scotland a few years ago, and somewhere on the course was a statue of an otter and a plaque to Gavin Maxwell, who lived locally. (can't remember exactly where the course was!) Aha - just looked it up! Montieth, near Newton Stewart.
