HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week.
The big female raccoon I told you about has 4 half-grown offspring. They don't seem to have any fear of me, and I'm trying to avoid them so I don't habituate them to humans.
I don't have any other wildlife stories. I've been indoors most of the week. The remnants of Hurricane Beryl hit Indiana with thunderstorms, flooding, and tornadoes. I'm fine, but it's been an ugly week.

Rusty -- it's St Swithins Day today!! Rain for 40 days & nights!
Sorry I forgot to come on here yesterday, and today I've been busy and/ or asleep! Both my OH and I fell into a nap after lunch and slept for over an hour & a half! He had a much better night last night thank goodness, so perhaps things are going to improve now.
My only comment over the drama with Trump is that the man who caused all this drama would no doubt be dismayed now to hear that his actions will probably have resulted in his winning the Election!!
Couldn't they have found a larger bandage?!!!
HEATHER Got some rasps from the Tore fruit farm yesterday, they were absolutely delicious.
Nice morning – rain from coffee time. Gardener mowed before it started. Good ironing weather – too much for the ironing cleaner yesterday, so OH is hoping to finish the pile this afternoon before my shower.
RUSTY – glad you could enjoy the zoo again with friends. I thought Summer was in March this year!

LINDA – bright photo of the crocosmia. We are going to move ours this autumn – back to where it used to be! Must have been living here too long – it is actually the longest we have stayed anywhere!
S-i-L#1 is coming over in a couple of weeks (weather permitting) to help with a bit of remodelling/tidying so Dau#1 will come too, in order to talk housing with J.
OG: Do hope Dau#1 may be able to arrange something for J; I suspect it might be easier on both you and EE.
ANNETTE:Not really sure if I shall feel any better after how he was with that latest illness - would hate to think of that happening if he were to be living alone1
Oh right.....any chance of sheltered or similar housing?
