The season so far: On 12 March, Maya returned 12 March @ 15:58 and Blue 33(11) on the 13 March @ 15:25. Maya laid her first egg on 30 March @ 13:58, the second on 02 April @ 13:15 and a third on 05 April @ 11:06.

Maya and 33(11) have taken turns incubating their precious eggs and we should see the first hatch towards the end of the first week in May.
If it is operation bobrescue he is lucky to be a single chick.
I reckon if there were 2 other chicks he would have been left.

15.23 Maya suddenly looks around in alarm and departs in a hurry. Little bob is on the edge of the nest just hanging limply
15.24 Cam goes black and it's hoped a rescue is in progress
15.57 Yes! The cam is back on, and little bob's in the cup next to the other egg 15.58 Maya returns and you can see bob moving.
Phew!!!! Well done Rutland Ospreys team!

Oh my goodness, what next, one very lucky little bobblehead! I could hardly watch when it was stuck in the sticks. Thank you Rutland Team for rescuing this special little Osplet.

Me neither CL, so relieved Rutland organised a super speedy rescue!
They certainly did Wendy, I would have thought from where the nest is, it would have taken some organising and time. Can you reach it via land or is it actually in the water?

The nest is on a high platform in the middle of the bay. It can only be reached by paddling out in a dinghy and going up a ladder,
