Some worrying news from Loch Garten(Abernethy)

OMG is this Scottish Gov  or London trying  to reek havoc    ?   or both.This should NOT be allowed .

Will post this info on here for anyone who hasn't seen it in our very disrupted threads

Sadly now as previously. Large parts of the daily news from the RSPB. Does not come first on the main RSPB website. Often I now find lots of the RSPB news via the various RSPB Facebook and the X(Twitter) websites well before the main RSPB website!

 Funny you should say that, Thomo - I was already mentally grumbling about it earlier this evening.  Also, as mentioned by others as well as me, the Loch Garten Osprey Diary has been ignored to death since the beginning of last season

Wind turbines don't sound Osprey friendly at all.

Quite a long time ago - like a year or two? - I read that painting a black stripe down the fins would enable birds to avoid them.

Rather like Scylla I am mystified and more than slightly annoyed but not at all surprised. Progress? Ha ha ha! Looking forward to my week in aviemore starting 13 April and complilng a list of questions to ask. Happy to receive contributions to the list. Most of mine begin with why and a follow up question starting who? I only have 76 so far to ask.
