This new system is hopeless. Do you agree? There are severe logic problems in the system.
If removal of pagination within a thread was not bad enough, now I discover that there are "black holes" which are impossible to get out of.
It is ok to have a button to take you to the newest post. But that may or may not be the end of thread. How then do you get to the end of the thread?
Some of us have been here nearly 15 years and we have seen a lot of nonsense but this takes the biscuit.

(1) If you wanted to you could change the order of the posts here to "Newest first" - but no sane person would want to in the LG forums, just imagine trying to read the day's events backwards
(2) This would be the point where Richard Thaxton would urge us to be patient - I think we shall soon see a reversion to pagination, Tiger! I am so confident that I am holding my breath

as I say best to keep checking here for amendments/suggestions, etc.

You can post the appropriate link till you're blue in the face, dearest Kate - but Tiger will continue to plough his own furrow.
Very poetic Scylla!

Has pagination returned?
Yes!
I said I feared what might happen, has happened! Which is why I never filled in that survey. Also the upgrade of the new look RSPB main website is a right mess. I mentioned in another I talked to one of the management from the RSPB why the maps has dispersed from the reserve listings and I asked how long until they return. The reply they will not be returning to the reserve listings on the main website
Regards,
Ian.
This was the start of a thread on the Facebook website RSPB Birders. And every member that has replies thinks the main RSPB website think that the new look website is 100% worse. And this is what RSPB members think the same as we all do about the RSPB Community
I will be putting a question at this years RSPB AGM in November of this year about both upgrades to the community forum and the new look refreshed RSPB website. That will probably be the only chance of an answer. That is unless some other RSPB menber asks a similar wuestion before me. I probably should have asked this question in previous years at the RSPB’s AGM’s. But it would seem the the RSPB’s AGM is the only place now sadly, anyone asking such a question will get a reply. As in these last few years if anyone asks such a question as on this forum or elsewhere you always seem to be talking to yourself! I will mention the name again. Mrs T(Claire) greatly missed by me snd probably other long term forum members, as if anyone. asked a question, Mrs T(Claire) would always go and find out any information from management. At present no one ever replies if any forum member asks any question to get any information!

Very much missed, indeed! It's all the more galling when we're told "awaiting moderation" but we know darn well we have no moderators, we've had none since MrsT retired.
Good luck at the AGM
