HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week.
I left a long post about the format change at the end of last week's thread. It may or may not answer some questions. I was just trying to help.
My area had a big snowstorm yesterday. My patch got 6 inches of drifting snow and ice. I felt sorry for the male red cardinal. He huddled under his old nest at the end of my enclosed porch. Poor fella had ice in his feathers. He was all fluffed up trying to stay warm. I fought the urge to let him in for awhile.
Love and hugs to everyone!
Don't know the definitive answer to that one Sheila, I suspect refresh, see what hapens with this post for you

Say you had a thread with 200 pages. One could jump directly to say page 75. Now you will have to scroll down 75 pages. Horrible.

Thank you, Diane on both counts - keeping us going plus trying to help us who are struggling.
A dry day here, after all night rain, again. We've been to visit Sue, who had new curtains for us to admire. She is waiting for a scan on her very painful shoulder. The other day we went for a lunch out, where I had a stunning and very deep ham quiche with salad. Afterwards we went to a Sale, where I bought ......a pair of fetching, neat black shoes!! LOL!!
Well, that seems to have worked - I posted as a reply to Diane's original post.
A stunning sandwich! The mind boggles....
Thanks Diane for all your helpful pointers. I still prefer to see page numbers because it's easier to click on those when you've missed a day or three. I wonder if the people who redesign these pages actually use them....
I definitely did request page numbers be reinstated several times in the 'official rspb' thread so I hope they have the message now ... this current system would only be more easily workable if there was to be a new thread for every day starting with a link back to the previous day ... that way each thread would not become long and unmanageable! I can forsee the need to 'quote' from the post being answered to provide more continuity ... whichever way it's going to be a faff!

I wonder if they look in at us and laugh at our struggles!!
An experiment! My usual way to write on the thread is to compile in Word, including any named replies I want to make, and then copy
Here goes
Another experiment - photo.
Note to self - stop trying to be clever!
Thought I had better keep us going! Don’t give up! I have got French this afternoon. The article we had to read for homework was about rugby at the Paris Olympic Games in 1924!!!! Would you believe that the USA beat France to win gold???? Now they just have rugby 7s don’t they? I have no idea what the rest of the session will be about. You have to be ready to turn your mind to anything. It certainly keeps us on our toes. It will be interesting to see where and how this posts itself as I clicked on Reply after Diane’s introduction as advised.
