Thanks so much Scylla. I think the awful weather this year during the Osprey season has lead to most birds going early (It's still August ! ) . That's my theory anyway..-

30 August

This might have been her on the perch for another fruitless wait - whoever it was flew off to our left @ 08:37.

I hope I don't get a rocket from Emyr but just had to do a little vid for yesterday, the 30th:
Super video Scylla thanks. Looks like that was Gwenlais on her way, she’s not around this morning. Bonus with the (black and white) aurora and starry night.
I'm so glad you did Scylla. Wonderful captures of Idris. Ta muchly
AND ! what do you think those (rather large) falling stars are at 3 mins 02 roughly) ? Especially the one that took off and upwards ?
But , an aurora this far south just has to be artificially created (let's hear it for HAARP or geoengineering if you prefer) .

The North Star and satellites were mentioned.

2024 DOP Summary - Another Hat-trick Year (by Emyr)
I would guess that the birds on the grass could be Canada Geese, unsure about the fellow on the stones behind?
