You'll have to try again, it's a long wait after you press delete which you have to wait for, usually takes you back to beginning of thread!

I'm seeing 3 copies on my Windows10 laptop.  I get the impression that dupe-and-trip posts happen to tablet users, but have no real evidence for that.

Even more interesting is who persuaded Thomo to correct Abernathy to Abernethy?  Jess couldn't manage it a month or three ago

Nellie managed to delete superfluous posts first time but see there's still another needs deleting ... I use my Samsung tablet and manage to avoid duplication, wonder if it happens to mobile users?
