Weekly Chat, Sunday December 19, 2010

Hallo all. Hasn't stopped raining here all day - two more days of it - BUT the weather in the UK has been making headlines on the radio and telly!  Will catch up with chat later.

  • p.s.  I am of course, thinking of margo but anticipate that she will be away, now, and returning home later.

  • Happy Christmas morning.

I walked into my nice, tidy lounge and found a pair of (dirty) socks on the floor and thought, “aaahh – he’s here!”

    It’s snowing!!!

Snow stopped while I ate my porridge!

Alicat – sorry you have not been well – I hope you can manage a few calories through Christmas!

    Terry – lovely garden photo.

AQ – glad you had everything under control in the end, and hope it was a great day – and maybe not as hot as forecast.

Liz – great photo of the snowy Ben!

Annette – so pleased you had a good family Christmas Eve – enjoy your rest when they all move on to Daughter’s.

Lindy – know what you mean about doing dinner for lunch – nice to avoid cooking in afternoon, but it’s not easy having it ready halfway through the day!

Have a good day, everyone, and I am sharing my red flowers with Margo.

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Morning all.

Like to wish one and all, and family's and very happy christmas.I dip in and out a bit due to my own time management mis-management! but am always welcomed back:) Thank you.

I know it is/has been a tough time for some but I hope the new year brings some form of peace.

Enjoy the day and catch up later:))))))

Edit, just read back and caught up and enjoyed all the photo's etc. Thanks.

Had a chuckle at OG's comment about the dirty socks as i thought they were Santa's for a minute! lolol

  • Hope evryone is having or had (depending on the part of the world you come from) a really good Christmas. Snow this morning but just a light covering pretty chilly so white wine comes straight in from my shed and totally misses the fridge. A nice stroll down by the Spey which is frozen in the middle right down to the stones as it is quite low at present. That won't last long once we get a thaw.

     Upstream from the Ballindalloch Bridge.

  • lovely photo's Wendy, thanks

Hope you're having a wonderful day

  • Thanks, folks, especially for Wendy's pictures.  Eaten plenty, listened to Son's guitar and mandolin (not both at once!), played Trivial Pursuit, phoned OH's Ancient Aunt - once we found her at home this evening (she lives in a retirement block and was "out" seeing neighbours there)!  Soon off to bed; so, all, enjoy what's left of Christmas and
