Morning all: Watching Wimbledon ladies final and finally (on the second set) it seems like Ons has found some energy. Meanwhile, the men's semi-final between Alcaraz and Medvedev was pretty exciting.

Let's hope Limpy and Clare are at the dentist's!

Oh dear. Well that was a fairly lackluster final. :-(

A bit one sided, Annette.

Its very breezy here. The sun is only watery, but we're grateful that we don't have the huge & scary heatwave that the rest of Europe is having!

I have everything crossed that Limpy has been able to get some help today.

Can't remember if I said that I had phoned the officer of the fiscal who is dealing with my brothers case and it is still pending. aargh!!!!!

My friend has been speaking with her solicitor and although the driver has now pleaded guilty it will still be a very considerable time before any decision can be made as to her robotic leg. aargh for her too!!!!!

dibnlib: Arghhh indeed. That's difficult, having such 'loaded' issues hanging over everyone.

Limpy rang the NHS 111 service at 1.00 this afternoon. We are still waiting for them to call back. He is in agony and we are bloody desperate.

Clare. That’s awful!!! Poor Limpy. I hope they ring back eventually. It’s ridiculous. Wish I could suggest something. You ruled out A&E didn’t you because you thought they would just give him pain killers. Sending hugs although I know they are not much use.

That's what they did with me years ago - I had a filling that went badly wrong and I was left literally screaming in pain.

I called them back and we now know the dental service should be calling him ...... in the next 12 hours.

What has this government done to our NHS?
