Egg No. 2 laid 23 April - Hatched 29 May (36 days)
Egg No. 3 laid 26 April - Hatched 1 June (37 days) Sadly, this little chick died on 3rd June. It coincided with LJ2 having a leg injury and unable to fish at the time. I don’t know if this was the sole reason, part of the reason or something else. RIP little one

Superb! Thanks Glider!
Monday 10 July
Good morning LM6 was off the nest early for a preen, both chicks were doing some flapping practice.
04.27 This chick was attempting little jumps whilst flapping so I’m presuming 7B5
04.28 This chick was a little less balanced so I’m presuming 7B6

Funny eh! It made the Foulshaw Osprey site on Twitter too!
08.42 First fish brought in from LJ2, a fine headless one.
LM6 took it straight away and fed the chicks.
09.26 LM6 walks away from the fish end.
LJ2 collected the fish three minutes later
and flew off with it watched by the chicks.
11.38 LM6 sheltering the chicks from the rain.
Weather wise it’s been a pretty bad day. LM6 and the chicks have been hunkered down on the nest a lot. 12.34
