Egg No. 3 laid 26 April - Hatched 1 June (37 days) Sadly, this little chick died on 3rd June. It coincided with LJ2 having a leg injury and unable to fish at the time. I don’t know if this was the sole reason, part of the reason or something else. RIP little one

Both chicks were on the nest. Dilys was nibbling at the old fish that they’d both tried to eat earlier.
LM6 flew in with a live one.

It was very livelyAs the fish flapped about, the juveniles jumpedEventually Dilys put her talons onto the fish16.57 After a while she had it under control and was able to eat it.
17.2217.3617.59, Mari was chomping on the old fish when LJ2 arrived with another fish for her. Mari started eating her new fish.
Dilys left her fish at 18.00 and a short while later, LM6 came to collect it. 18.14

20.09 As the evening has gone on, the weather has got worse.
20.27 Dilys had a wee jump about the nest, like a dance! She did this last night too! 20.50 Mari drops by21.24 Dilys looks settled for the night21.45
Saturday 29 July
Good morning A nice fish to start the day for Dilys delivered by LM6 at 08.28

After Dilys has finished with the fish and left, LM6 arrives and eats some of it. 10.01

13.31 LJ2 returns with the fish, a bit dried up looking at the end now. Mari is waiting.
13.53 Mari had a good go at eating the fish. 15.18 Now Dilys is back eating it. 16.58 LM6 arrives with a fresh fish. Dilys is still there.17.02 Dilys with her fresh fish

17.44 LM6 arrives around 20 minutes later
LM6 didn’t stay long, Mari is watching intently 18.21
18.29 LM6 was back on the nest when Dilys decided she had had enough and stepped off the fish.

21.53 That’s her for the night now. Looks like LJ2 has joined her on the perch.

Good morning Both chicks were on the nest early looking for breakfast. 05.35
05.40 Mari left and Dilys is on the nest when LJ2 arrives with a fish.
