Recap:-
LJ2 returned 31 March 2023
LM6 returned 4 April 2023
Egg No. 1 laid 20 April - Hatched 27 May (37 days)
Egg No. 2 laid 23 April - Hatched 29 May (36 days)
Egg No. 3 laid 26 April - Hatched 1 June (37 days) Sadly, this little chick died on 3rd June. It coincided with LJ2 having a leg injury and unable to fish at the time. I don’t know if this was the sole reason, part of the reason or something else. RIP little one
The family of 5 for a couple of days. Bob 3, RIP, in between #1 and #2
Four weeks later, our two thriving youngsters, #1 and #2 (36 and 34 days as at 01/07/23)

Just before 14.20 something is seen near the nest
LM6 starts mantling and chipping
LJ2 started mantling and chipping on the perch.
He then started flapping tooHe then joined LM6 on the nest
before taking off to chase the intruder
LJ2 (nearest) and intruder magnified
Again magnified. LM6 watches on as LJ2 chases the intruder. She stays vigilant with a couple of chips as she looks upwards.
Things settle down and LM6 is back to preening.
LJ2 returns at 16.32 landing on the perch.
EDIT - A clock is now at the top left corner of the screen!!! I’m so happy! I’ll need to change my approximate times!
Approx 18.00 LJ2 is on the nest with LM6. She sends him off fishing. There’s only been the one fish today and that was in the morning.
Edit - actual time, 17,59.16!
He leaves over the water.
Scrolling back, I’ve found the moment the clock appeared on screen. First the year then a second later the time.
Did anybody request this at Brenig HQ?

Haha, I knew I’d end up doing this Sandra! My brain’s scrambled!
Yes, our dear LM6, not Flora visiting long distance from Alyth!
Thanks for correcting me.
Yes Sandra, you’ll be the same with countless notepads with times and time deductions for everything that happens on the nest. Unless you do it all mentally?
