Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

I haven't found any fish deliveries this afternoon so far.
At around 14:32, both PF4 and PF5 became very alert and began to shout
Who landed on the cam post? An intruder?
Almost 15 minutes later, whoever it was, flew off. I didn't see any flight away
Both relaxed again
Both resting on the nest at present, 17:40 - PF4 on the left

17:42 Both on defence again!
It was only short lived
Oh my goodness, PF4 dived from NC0's diving branch of the birch at 18:08ish!
She left the nest at 18:04ish and landed there
18:08ish Splashdown!
Out of the water, she flew from left to right behind the trees until out of view
What did she have in her left talons?
Cropped and brightened
She flew off as PF5 approached her
Unringed intruder landed on the nest perch, 19:18. PF5 jumped up flapped it away!
Just beforehand, at 19:16, both became quite distressed and began to shout
They quietened down and tracked the intruder
It hadn't gone away and hovered above the nest
Touchdown on the perch
A very pale male?
PF5 wasn't having any of that and jumped up
Well done, PF5!
I wonder if this was the same bird that landed on the cam post this afternoon? Where is Laddie and, more to the point, NC0?
It flew over the nest again just as PF5 had settled back down onto the nest

I've only just realised that the cam's been down and back up again - so I got this from YT rollback as a token apology
I'm not going to attempt finding the fishing trip...
IMAGICAT
Oh, thanks for that, Scylla, very much appreciated!
The intruder left the birch at 19:35ish
Laddie with a fish at 19:54
PF5 had just left the nest, screeching, perhaps he'd seen Laddie approaching. PF4 had been on the birch
The tip of PF5's wing, lower left, PF4 incoming, far left
PF5 dragging the fish
PF4 tried to take it
Laddie left them to fight it out
PF5 used his talons to pull the fish away
TBC
PF5 moved his position at 20:01, PF4 found this to be the ideal opportunity to attempt a steal and rushed over from the front right of the nest
PF5 on the left
PF5 had just pecked at her head before this pic
More tugging by PF4
After a hard fought battle, in which there was a lot of aggression, PF4 won the fish
20:56 Scene at present - PF4 still eating
