Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

NC0 with a small fish at 8:48
PF4 attempted to take it. NC0 kept her talons firmly in place
PF5 lay down as NC0 fed PF4
8:55 That meal didn't last long at all.
Out for the day but will be back later. BFN

A catch-up report - including 6 fish deliveries (that I could find) - a combination of 2 from Laddie and 4 from NC0, up to the present time (19:55)
11:27 PF4 flapped onto the nest perch
12:50 PF4 gained some height when flapping her wings
13:11 Laddie with a fish delivery
14:31 PF5 was exercising his wings, PF4 back onto the nest perch
14:51 Laddie with another fish delivery
16:56 NC0 with a small fish
18:33 NC0 with another
19:04 The next one from NC0
This one at 19:39, the fish was in her left talons
PF5 did not join in with the feed
All times shown are very approximate
Richard B
There are far too many superlatives to describe her to be honest, Richard!
She delivered another one (tiny) at 19:58
NC0 fed PF5 from this fish
21:39 Laddie delivered his family's next meal, a headless one. He had a fine crop!
Both PF4 and PF5 received something to eat
Another from Laddie at 21:55, a live tiddler that flapped about on the nest once he released his grip
The fish continued to flap under neath her as she attempted to pick it up
Finally contained
NC0 ate it for herself, the youngsters were not interested
A bigger fish than the last one from Laddie, at 22:02 (this was the last fish of the day)
That flapped on the nest too as NC0 went to take it from him. He flew off leaving her to it!
PF5 had a private feed...
...before NC0 finished the fish off. PF4 didn't have anything from this fish
So 12 fish in total today: Laddie 5, NC0 7
