I start this thread with a heavy heart, as Brodie hasn't been seen at all on Friday 30th June. The last fish delivered to the nest was at 21.11 on 28 June, over 48 hours ago. Brodie was last sighted at 09.10 hours on 29 June, over 36 hours ago.
Chick 1 hatched 'early morning' on the 4 June and chick 2 overnight on 6 June. One egg didn't hatch (maybe number 1?). There were lots of intruders during the month of June, including KL5, and last year's male Axel on the weekend of 17/18th. Brodie has disappeared before for a couple of days, and no fish were delivered over the first weekend after hatching on 10/11th June so maybe we should keep the faith and cross all eyes, toes and fingers that Brodie will come good, recover from whatever keeps him away from his nest and chicks, and deliver a stonking fish first thing on 1 July.

A snippet of live action for what looks to be a live fish
I've been doodling to comfort myself after waking up to find crash!
Here she is "embossed":
Spreading everything to shelter her babes:

I've only got the PTZ screen capture - but what a stonker!
If any of those are too big I'll have to sort them later.
IMAGICAT
Thanks for the heads up, Trevor. Wow, Wendy, that certainly was a LIVE FISH!! And a huge one too. Well done Brodie.
Poor #2 just cowered from the start, as #1 glared and dared it to line up for the feed. #1 had its back to Asha and #1.
14.49 for no reason at all #1 had a go at #2, getting it by the neck again. #1 turned back to Asha and continued to take fish.
15.05 Asha has been taking food. #2 stands up and turns towards her to get its turn. Life is all peaceful once more with both being fed.
15.50 #1 turned away and #2 had Asha's full attention
15.56 Asha picks up left overs.
16.04 Asha calls for seconds
16.28 the rain gets heavier again, and Mumbrella tried to cover the chicks
17.03 the shower passes, but the chicks stay as close to mum as possible.
17.05 Asha moves to the rim, and calls again
17.11 It starts raining again, and Asha moves towards the chicks, and as it gets heavier she covers them again.
The picture remains like that.
Loverly pics, Scylla. I love the embossed version of Asha. Superb!

Wow! I hope Asha will let them do it
BTW, I emailed Fergus with my suggestion re sawing off the sticky-up stick, but...
... and if only I would keep up with emails I'd see that he has replied
And he's "put it on the agenda"
Having had the RF open too long, I can't see if others have noted this already - but after a long outage of all LG cams, they now seem to have recovered.
EDIT
False dawn
PTZ up, nest down still.
19:15 FISH !!! !!! !!!
Easier to do a teeny vid:
Tawny Owl? It didn't attempt to bother Asha, she did look up but only after it was well past the nest. Since then tho, she's moved to the perch.
Fish at 7 23 am
morning all That will slow things up this morning for ringers
I've been seized up and now Firefox has lost all my tabs

We used to see them climb up and bag the chicks and tidy the nest, but lately they've been switching off like other nests do.
Let's hope the nest cam isn't mortally wounded - aha !!!
PTZ - "This video is unavailable" on a black screen.
I'm packing up - looking forward to developments later
