LM6 LJ2
So far so good! The first 2 chicks are doing well, the 3rd just hatched this morning.
21.03 LJ2 returns, LM6 is fish calling to him but he is empty taloned again.
21.28 LJ2 is still on the nest hunched up and LM6 still calling intermittently.
Sandra P said:Oh gosh, I do hope LJ2 is well... Wonderful news about the 3rd hatch, thanks Glider.
I hope so Sandra, I just have a gut feeling something is wrong. Hoping things are better tomorrow.
Hiya, GLIDER, glad to see you in fine form here is the video of (I hope) LM6 on the PTZ - first harassed by a corvid, then working up to casting a pellet, rather messily
Glider said:LM6 kept asking for fish. I’m now wondering if LJ2 is able to fish, he seems unwell to me. I hope I’m wrong.
I had discontinued the nest cam, trying to take some pressure off my system and knowing you, Glider, were covering this nest so well... so I've recorded a little bit from YT rollback just to get LJ2's "condition" on record. Nothing spectacular to see here, but I thought his wings looked unfree at the shoulders.
LM6 is sleeping peacefully on her chicks.

02 June
LJ2 arrived around 05:00 fishless, he stayed about 15 minutes during which time LM6 took a comfort break.
(You'll need to use your expertise to firm up on times/durations, GLIDER, if you would like accuracy.)
Friday 2nd June
Good morning Scylla, thanks for your videos. LM6 did have a struggle with that pellet!!
This is LJ2, just arrived at 05.00 on the nest this morning. He didn’t roost on the nest perch overnight like he has been doing.
The 3 bobs looking lively as LM6 takes a comfort break and LJ2 by their side.
He leaves at 05.15 and hasn’t returned yet. 06.30
Scylla, your times were perfect!
06.50 LJ2 back beside LM6 on the nest.
He starts moving sticks and bark beside her, like he does when he wants to take over (formerly incubation)
He is looking a bit hunched up.
Good morning,GLIDER - I could've saved time if I'd checked for you first. My post was going to say "LJ2 has been in 3 times in the past hour or so, the first time he brought a stick":
