Link to Glaslyn - May 2023
The liaison of Aran with a new female, Elen, taking over from much-mourned MrsG, has been almost seamless.
They have laid 2 eggs, the first of which hatched @ 01:38 on 31 May. It's been fairly subdued so far, but here were a lively few moments:

Lovely! Thanks, CIRRUS
Let's let this thread run to the end of the season, there shouldn't be call for pages of posts/snaps from now on. I'll amend the title.
Blog posted on 1st August - inclusive of a video showing the whole family together!
Friends of the Ospreys Pont Croesor Nest Update
It's great that this new partnership has turned out so well. Elen was so immature (naturally since this was her first breeding year) but how quickly she matured.I'm thankful for Aran attracting Elen - she's matured so quickly from kicking the first egg laid (inadvertently) not really understanding what it was to feeding her lads so expertly. No problem there
I remember, it took Aran ten days to ''come to'' and decide he'd better refurbish the nest if he was to attract a mate. And we all (well mostly all) wanted Aeron's mate for Aran until he turns up at the Glaslyn nest with a good sized fish to entice her back to the PC nest. Wry smile there. And then Elen arrives and she's proved to be gold for Aran.
Thank you for all your coverage of the Glaslyn nest Scylla.

Hardly any this season :(((
11 August
Two breakfishes - the first was particularly maginificent and still flapping a long time after delivery!
This much was left on the nest and was picked up faster then the speed of light by... probably a parent but who can tell which?

I thought that one, at least, of CIRRUS's snaps should be framed - as she does like frames ;) But I couldn't match colours, so,,,
Fingers crossed, but this looks to have been a wonderful season for Aran and his new mate Elen
