Asha is the proud parent of 3 eggs, the father of which being dubious but probably URM - now called Brodie - as we hardly saw NN2 (for whom we wish all the best elsewhere) be accepted by Asha. Brodie had a lot of trouble fending off intruders which has made him a bit flaky in the fish catching and delivery department. Poor old Asha didn't eat for over 2 days last week. The main intruder was KL5, who seems to have stopped hanging around so much now, which is good as we approach hatch date and the need for fish will ramp up.
A scylla-super-snap of the happy parents-to-be
Also, courtesy of scylla, here are the laying dates;
25 April - egg 1
28 April - egg 2
01 May - egg 3

I took 9 instant snaps and only 2 were any good. I think the one nearer us got the larger share:
FISH !!! !!! !!!
But Asha is very slow to get up for it but now she's taken it. It looks extremely decent, headless.
EDITING IN SNAPS:
It was bigger than it looked in the air:
Hysterical, I don’t even need to see a video now!!! Edit: And thank you Scylla for the most excellent captures of delivery, the bobble, and the happy couple.

We sure are Korky and thank you for finding the picture
I've got no good feed video yet today - earlier, Asha flew off to fetch a much-needed (!) stick and Brodie popped to the nest while she was away - he was allowed to stay while she fed the kids but we couldn't see well at all.
Not a lot going on, so it's just for the record, just to show we care
You wouldn't believe how contrary he was about giving us a nice pose:
I'm on a break now.
A really great capture Scylla, - I'm so pleased with it. Thank you
Scylla, what beautiful portraits of Asha and Brodie. I have 'borrowed' them!! Thank you.
One additional point to add to Canuck's brilliant resume yesterday of the fun with the stick - as per Scylla's vid. When Asha flew off for a flyabout at 17.03.05, I noticed she took the fish with her. Scylla's vid doesn't have the time line of her return, but I guess it wasn't long. Perhaps to get it in an easier position to feed the osplets? She fed herself before turning to the osplets. How lovely to see Brodie 'allowed' to watch!
After feeding the osplets again at 10.55 Brodie flew off, and landed on Odin's perch (PTZ). I did snip him there at 11.34, but our internet has been so dreadful of late, after two minutes each time, I get an 'error'.
Back to the nest on PTZ. 11.47- the cam zoomed in on Asha getting up to feed the wee ones again. The VC had a problem focusing, Two heads were up waiting for food. The cam was finally in focus as Asha tidied up dropped pieces of fish.
12.03 PTZ returned to Brodie who was still on Odin's perch, and looking stunning in the sunshine. I tried again to upload a pic, but it times out again.
12.34 Another closeup of a feed of the osplets
12.42 she has another clear up on dropped fish
13.00 a bit of light housework, moving twigs rather than sticks and finds more dropped morsels. Then she supports herself with her wings over the osplets. It must be hot under there!
13.15 eyes shut and panting well under the sun's rays - oh so welcome at last down here I must say!
There followed a long spell of preening.
14.24.30 Asha took flight
She was found on the 'arches' or fallen conifer, just before the old nest. PTZ zoomed in on her.
14.30 Brodie landed on the nest, followed by Asha, who tells him to go fishing.
14.32.40 'OK, I'll go', but Brodie doesn't say where to! I hadn't been aware of the fish tail going down, so there must be some left from earlier.
PTZ zoomed in, but there was nothing new to see. She went into housework mode again, and two heads could be seen bobbing around under her chest.
13.37.27 she settles over them.
14.42 Asha starts calling. PTZ draws back, and there is Brodie on a small tree the other side of the nest, with his back to the nest!
15.12 with apparently nothing to feed the osplets with she goes thru a make believe feed, with lovely views of the two head., beaks open, in expectation.
15.13 she calls again
She supports herself over the osplets again
15.26 Brodie is still in the tree and hasn't gone fishing. She continues to call.
15.39 Brodie flew from the perch and landed on the nest. He does have a very large crop! And off he went again, out of sight.
16.39 live - some lovely close ups of Asha, looking quite alert, with piercing yellow eyes. I wonder what she has seen. She's not calling.
16.40 I spoke to soon. Watch this space!!
Bye for now.
