Early morning live tiddler delivery.
It didn’t last long but #3 managed to get quite a few bits.
Flora downs the tail.
Another fish, a proper sized one this time, delivered at 08.35. It was very lively and Harry nearly lost his grip of it just before landing on the nest.
Harry quickly let go of the fish and left it for Flora to handle!
Flora ate quite a lot herself during this feed, she must’ve been hungry.
The feed was over 10 minutes long and all chicks were fed.
Flora steps away from the fish and Harry quickly retrieves it and takes it away.
Next delivery at 11.37 another live fish.
Again, all 3 chicks got a feed.
chick #3 later retired from the feed first.
The feed finished at 11.53. Harry collected the fish and took it away.
13.36 Harry arrives with another live fish.
Flora prepares the fish for feeding to the chicks.
Flora starts feeding #1 then #2 joins.
#3 is at the back and furthest away from Flora. However, it is closest to Harry who had discovered a discarded tail end on the nest.
Harry started feeding #3 as Flora fed #1 and #2.
So all 3 chicks get a feed again.
14.08 headless fish delivery now. This is #5 today although #1 was tiny!
Flora initially doesn’t show interest and stays on the chicks and starts preening. Harry eats the fish on the nest.
After a wee while, Flora decides to take the fish.
It was a bit of a lethargic feed. The chicks weren’t begging initially, then #1 started.
#2 followed and received some fish. #3 got up too and got fish as well.
The chicks ate some food whilst sitting low
I guess the chicks were still full from the last feed and tired too so it was a bit of a start and stop feed.
They’re all bundled together here in a heap!
Here comes #6 fish, another live one.
Only #1 and #2 chicks get up initially to ask for food.
#3 chick is late to the party but does get fed. (Facing the wrong way initially)

Flora finishes the feed, eats a little more herself then cleans her beak. The bobs are back flopped down together, needing a sleep.
18.57 Flora gets up to eat the tail end still lying on the nest. Bob #1 asks for food and Flora starts feeding it.
Then who should arrive at 18.58 with another whole fish! #7
The 3 chicks in size order!Again, the 2 older chicks get fed first. #3 can’t manoeuvre around #2 to get into the front.
As the feed goes on, Flora starts stretching over to feed #3.
As soon as Flora slows down with the feed, Harry is over taking the fish from her. He’s been itching to get it for a few minutes.
Must be really hungry, no wonder all that effort he’s putting into fishing.
Harry had a bit of bother gripping the fish but after changing position he managed and he’s off.

06.23 Harry arrives with a live fish
Flora finished the feed to pick up dropped scraps. Harry took the fish away. 06.36
08.22 another live delivery. On the small side again.
Flora moved to a better position to feed the chicks. #3 got the first bite. It managed to get quite a few pieces this time.
13.23 Harry delivers the goods again. A larger live fish this time.
Flora quickly gets control of the fish.
All chicks ate something but #1 got the best of the feed.
