She returned to the perch at 21.12

and after a quick preen, flew onto the nest.

LM6 then had a one sided conversation with LJ2 to get off the eggs.

which he did after a couple of minutes.

and LM6 quickly got back on.

  • 21.45 LJ2 flew to the perch

He stayed until 21.53. LM6 is home alone at the moment. 22.50

  • Thursday 25th May

Good morning Grinning LM6 was on the nest until 03.57 last night when she flew off.

A few moments later an Osprey flew to the perch

It then flew onto the nest. Hello, it’s LJ2, he’s on early for an incubation this morning.

  • 07.08, LM6 having a wee snooze now.

  • 10.52 LM6 was still on the nest. She had been calling earlier as if she’d seen LJ2 return with a fish. She flew off briefly for a comfort break.

11.45 LM6 started fish calling loudly

11.48 LJ2 approached the nest with a headless fish.

LM6 was up quickly to take it.

Once secure in her talons, LM6 flew off with a very nice sized meal.

  • Just after 13,30, LJ2 flies off the nest

LM6 flies on shortly after with her tail end of fish.

LM6 shakes off the fish and goes to the eggs.

15.10 LM6 gets up and calls to LJ2 before flying off. LJ2 arrives on the nest within a minute.

LJ2 incubates until 16.26 when LM6 arrives on the perch.

She had had a good preen.

LM6 stayed on the perch for a few moments

before returning to incubate the eggs.

    and takes over incubation.

  • 19.42 LM6 returns but LJ2 sits tight.

LM6 flies off again and returns to the preening perch.

20.03 Once finished, LM6 flies back to the nest perch and announces her arrival.

    They swap incubation duties.
