After a start/stoppy kinda season, we now have settled couple "URM" (until LG give him a name) and Asha, or Mistle as some would prefer.
Asha is the proud parent of 2 eggs, the father of which being dubious but probably URM, as we hardly saw NN2 (for whom we wish all the best elsewhere) be accepted by Asha.
URM and Asha are similarly marked but distinguishable by certain differences which I may slot in here but I've lost them for the time being.
Asha (R) is looking rather small in this snap because she's crestfallen due to no supper:
Because Asha did so much work on the nest before she had a partner, there hasn't been a lot for URM to do - but he has quite frequently brought in nest material - and his fish provisions have been regular and willingly handed over. He's a promising Osprey dad so far.

Asha went for flyabout @ 04:05.
Then BlueKL5 skydanced and commenced on a series of "attacks", all of which Asha repelled. After that she was contact-calling but I couldn't see anyone else there - but the light isn't good in the mornings due to the direction of the sun.
It's a worry as to what's befallen Brodie.
I've said it was KL5 but actually can't support that:
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. After a few years with a dearth of really interested Ospreys now we get all these (probably) 2 year olds trying their chances. - well. well done Brodie.. But I'm nervous about no fish when the bobs have hatched..
Yes, Scylla, thanks for the videos - I noticed the PTZ sound and the flying things were a mix of moths and Bats after a good feed (I think)
Asha is still calling as I type.

It was nearly 10:00 before BlueKL5 finally left the area - with a flyover of the nest:
billy r said:Brodie returns fishless at 11.24
And only to chase off KL5* again, "encouraged" by a cross Asha:
*Presumably.
Asha had comforted herself with a nice big stick:
Brodie's crop is not bulging as if he'd recently eaten a whole fish:
Oh boy! I tried to mix this afternoon intrusion into the morning one cos I hadn't shut down MovieMaker, oh what turmoil
I've only checked up to about 18:30, at which time I didn't see Brodie again.
19:34 Someone flew over or by, Asha was screeching at them - it could only be seen as a tiny blackish shadow flying off by the old nest area.
