.
After a start/stoppy kinda season, we now have settled couple "URM" (until LG give him a name) and Asha, or Mistle as some would prefer.
Asha is the proud parent of 2 eggs, the father of which being dubious but probably URM, as we hardly saw NN2 (for whom we wish all the best elsewhere) be accepted by Asha.
URM and Asha are similarly marked but distinguishable by certain differences which I may slot in here but I've lost them for the time being.
Asha (R) is looking rather small in this snap because she's crestfallen due to no supper:
Because Asha did so much work on the nest before she had a partner, there hasn't been a lot for URM to do - but he has quite frequently brought in nest material - and his fish provisions have been regular and willingly handed over. He's a promising Osprey dad so far.
IMAGICAT
I'm just popping in with some news. KL5(20)m has been back again. As far as I can tell he was spotted on a branch, not actually intruding on the nest. He was preening
I love this shot of the framework of the old nest, and KL5 sitting, preening.
The cam then zoomed in - looking beautiful.
They were able to catch his ring to confirm
KL5 flew off just after this
Just now, 15.01, Brodie has brought in a lovely big brown trout.
Eating her fish
The PTZ is focused on Asha eating her fish, the static nest cam shows Brodie incubating.
Talk about a good time to pop in!

A bit before 15.46 I heard an intruder chip. It was Brodie. Asha looked up from her perch/fish but stayed put.
15.46 Brodie intruder chipped and flew off the nest. Asha looks up from her perch with the fish
An osprey flew across, in between her and the PTZ.
15.47 Asha returned to the nest, with her fish, while Brodie dealt with the intruder. Asha continued to eat her fish on the nest.
She has stopped eating, and is now incubating. No sight nor sound of Brodie
Thank you Sheila, I am SO pleased to read Asha had a fish

I 100% believe you, SHEILA, but I've spent hours looking for it and cannot find it
To compensate, I've chosen the fish delivery clip from the PTZ and put the main cam's sound on it - but not on any of the other PTZ clips.
I'm so zonked, what with Foulshaw and Clywedog and this, I may not be around for a while
Very nice size too - very good Brodie , keep it up boy. Enjoyed the video Scylla, thanks
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've only just got around to him, and now I'll be late gettng started on today!
Naturally I had to do a portrait - what gorgeous golden eyes!
The afternoon fish provided several snacks and lasted well into the evening, it wasn't finished until 21:00:
23 May
No overnight mystery or drama.
I did the overnight PTZ recording with main cam sound - here's a short demo of the sync prob:
I haven't seen rain but Asha doesn't look exactly dry:
08:06 Brodie flew in and took over, and between then and 08:55 Asha brought in 4 sticks and maybe a piece of bark.
Signing off, SYAL.
