scene just now
I just hope that the weather improves and we start to see the winds ease allowing temperatures to rise and above all no rain.
Thanks so much for the new thread, Karen, and with such a gorgeous picture too!
Three of the four eggs have very similar markings don't they? Looking forward to the first hatch already!
t was a sticky day..
Maya was really annoyed with a stick when she landed.. and then started attacking all the wayward sticks in the nest.. dropping some of them almost overboard.. but then...
33 came in with a stick.. then pole vaulted over maya, who wisely fled the scene.. however it wasn't over yet for blue 33 and he got stuck.. falling over.. again and again, almost on the eggs.. finally getting rid of it, he looks around to see if anyone had been watching..
Later Maya comes back.. and another frantic attack on the sticks. She really had a bad day

And a late fish
Another very sticky situation at 17.00 - Blue 33 landed with an awkwardly shaped stick, then got it trapped in his BTO ring! Lurched backwards and forwards trying to free himself - Maya had wisely taken off - then eventually did so. She returned and moved it to a better place, only to have him move it back into the middle an hour later!
An early fish, at first maya leaves without it, then returns... and loses it while flying away
Then a lovely scene where they both sit together on the nest.. watching the bay on synchronised moves
And then.. dear, dear Blue 33 got her another fish!!Isn't he just the best!!
