.News from Other Nests 2022
First, a fantastic resource for international cams given to us by LISA K last year:
Nature Chat
Last season we included Tweed Valley (cam not yet up), Alyth and others that I can't bring to mind right now. Let's see how this season goes before deciding which cams may now require their own thread.
IMAGICAT
Hi everyone..
To keep track of all the O's and other birds I'm trying to follow.. I set up a website with all the cams, including (whenever possible) position on the map, and if there are parents, eggs, chicks, etc on the nest (or fledged ofc).
Already 44 nestcams on osprey itself, but also some on eagles, hawks and falcons..
Hope it will help you keeping track (which is impossible!!) or at least maybe you'll find a nest you never knew before

That's really useful - so many nests! Thanks Bart.
I see Iris, at Hellgate, arrived back at her nest yesterday
'Iris is home! The Montana Raptor Project built her a nest on what was the parking lot of the Riverside Clinic in Missoula near Hellgate Canyon. She is thought to be 28 or 29 years old.'

Aw that’s a shame but not surprising I guess as I remember reading about LOTL’s Lady’s fertility decreasing in the last few years.
I’d like to think that Mrs G of Glaslyn decided she wasn’t up for having any more and so opted on retirement in sunny Africa to see out her days.
News flash - Tweed Valley’s Glen Blue 708 has been sighted in Morocco! Salek Aouissa, the president of Réseau Association Khnifiss, member organisation of IUCN, went looking on behalf of Sacha and Conservation Without Borders, and found him!
Glen’s in a remote area on a beach near a tiny oasis but there’re still many threats, power lines, industrial works etc. However the satellite data shows he’s active and fishing daily.

There are also videos showing the return of FK0 on 7th April, 3AF intruding on nest 2 and Mrs O with BTO ringed male and egg on the main nest - all can be viewed on the TVOP public Fb page here
