.News from Other Nests 2022
First, a fantastic resource for international cams given to us by LISA K last year:
Nature Chat
Last season we included Tweed Valley (cam not yet up), Alyth and others that I can't bring to mind right now. Let's see how this season goes before deciding which cams may now require their own thread.

Glider said:On the UK Osprey information site, they’ve recorded that Angel, partner of Frankie, returned to Loch Doon yesterday. So that’s another couple reunited.
Thanks Glider, great news!
ALYTH NEST
HK0 is still busy sorting her nest. However, the unringed intruder is still interested.
From scroll back, I think the intruder visited twice today. Just before 16.00 and just before 17.00.
The intruder left and shortly HK0 returned to the nest with something dangling from her talons.Luckily, it broke away when she flew off again.
However, it has settled on the edge of the nest.
You've covered all the bits I'd isolated for snapping, GLIDER

You’re welcome Scylla! Hopefully you can snap the resident male returning soon!
Ailie, I've transferred your post onto the Loch Garten 2023 thread
Looks like HK0’s mate is back.
He first arrived at 18.45
He returned a few times. Did a bit of nest scraping
HK0 finally found him and flew to her nest, the male in hot pursuit.
He forgot his manners and jumped on her back straight away! She actually lifted her tail but he fell off!
He then flew off and returned with some nesting material. A large stick and moss at the same time!

Then he remembered etiquette and they both mantled at either side of the nest.
