.News from Other Nests 2022
First, a fantastic resource for international cams given to us by LISA K last year:
Nature Chat
Last season we included Tweed Valley (cam not yet up), Alyth and others that I can't bring to mind right now. Let's see how this season goes before deciding which cams may now require their own thread.

Sandra P said:Thanks for the update, Glider. The first egg should be imminent with the way Samson and Juno are carrying on! lol :)
You’re welcome Sandra. Yes, they’re some couple!
Bart molenaar said:And the moment I posted this: Florence returned.. after more than 24 hours away. The eggs will not be viable of course
I'm late catching up with the news of Florence's absence and return - but am not giving up hope for the eggs, unless the weather has been bad. Sez me, with no experience of this exact situation.

Your help is needed!
Sadly avian flu has reached Gambia where birds are dying in their thousands. The conservation organisations there are seriously underfunded and operate on a shoestring often lacking even the resources to get to the affected areas. Sacha Dench, UN Ambassador for the Convention on Migratory Species and CEO of Conservation Without Borders, has just been there with the Flight of the Osprey expedition team and seen firsthand how even a little help can make a difference. Sacha says: If we can offer support now, a little will go a long way to help stop the spread - it’s migration time which means birds in Gambia are returning to the UK and Europe. If you’re able, please consider donating to assist Gambian field workers to save thousands of birds’ lives.

It was a few seconds long video. Here are a couple of stills I took from it.
