Snow here. My birdwatching has, unsurprisingly, been cancelled. I must go out to feed the birds, otherwise I will hunker down. I can tell it is bad when the buses don’t come past my house - they stick to the main road and miss out this loop. I have a 1000 piece bird jigsaw on the go (who would have known there were so many shades of brown!!!) and a couple of books. I feel lucky that I am warm and cosy.

ANNETTE - I will look for the Spitfire film on Amazon Prime. I think that I would enjoy it.

Good Morning. Been busy: thought I'd already posted on here!!

We awoke to no snow but a very bitter cold wind. Then it began to snow at about 8.00 am and at first it was just little tiny dots, but now its getting more serious and is trying to "stick" to the ground. No golf for my OH of course, and so he is sitting watching The Godfather which he recorded recently and wanted to indulge in, in one big binge.

I just fed the birds, and they gratefully descended before I'd even got back into the house.

AQ - Love the bit about the beautiful whales. We seem to know so little about these magnificent creatures, yet they are so important.

The tulip pots aren’t very happy now Heather and it is still snowing!!!!!

The wrapped up thing is my water feature/birdbath. As it has an electric motor I always put a cover on it in winter. I do have another bowl for the birds to drink from at the bottom of the garden. I filled it with warmish water this morning.

Lovely tulips, Rusty, but oh dear!!
