Now amended, thanks for pointing that out. I’d put in an extra audio track trying to separate the calls from the wind noise - didn’t succeed, and forgot to remove the audio track hence the black ending. I just chopped it off.
Nest One spider has been busy
As the sun rises over Nest One, you can just about make out the spider’s web
Dorcha stands for a stretch and a wing flap
Another early breakfast for Dorcha
05.30.35 Fish number one, headless BT
Dorcha grabs it and departs
08.43.05 Louis vists Nest One
There were some alarms with both off the nest around lunchtime, nothing seen on nest cam. LizB saw a juvenile Golden Eagle being mobbed by crows so maybe that's what caught L&D's attention. Maybe the same juvenile who touched down briefly recently?
Louis delivered fish number two at16.53.07

08.11 - edited through to 10.26 Ringed Osprey (UX?) touches down on Nest Two and is seen off by Dorcha
I've used sharpening software and super slo-mo as well as zoomed - it looks like UX to me. But not 100% sure. Best look is at 0:39 in - what do you think?
Frustratingly, UK Ospreys list show UV, UW, UY and UZ - misses out UX!!!

Looked like UX to me as well Geemeff.
Looking at it again, the first character has a thicker right side so maybe not a U, maybe a D. Or maybe a three-character and that's a J in the middle - we need him to return! I'm pretty convinced the last one is an X not an 8 with the top and bottom not visible. No 2- or 3-character ending in JX in the Darvic list.
Anyway, it's great to have visiting Ospreys!
Monday 8th May A very slow day, not a lot happened. Louis brought two fish, one early, one late, it rained a lot, and the pair took turns incubating the eggs.
