Now if only nest 1 could attract some interest.
You just might get your wish, Glider!!
Look who popped in this morning - LV0, 2020 male from Loch Garry nearby - intruded on Willow and Sarafina on Nest Two last year!
First landed at 08.29, stayed a few moments, departed then returned 08.32 until 08.40.
Please come back and stay!!
Edited and zoomed video of this morning's visits by LV0
Louis delivered only a single fish, a headless trout, at 15.37.04. He did do a double circuit before landing with it though. However, both he and Dorcha look well-fed so perhaps they're dining off-nest.
Strange noises at 20.48 -20.51 - humans?? in the distance?? Heard most clearly at 20.49
Beautiful sunset. Quiet night after Louis departed at 20.49.16, just a squirt, stretch, and a few changes of position for Dorcha. No more strange noises.
05.49.13 Early breakfast for Dorcha! Fish number one, headless trout, arrives, she grabs it and Louis settles down to egg duties. (near miss on earliest delivery record 05:44:59 - 22/04/2023)
10.37.16 Action on Nest One - but it's only a Chaffinch singing away before hopping up and perching.
16.39 more Osprey action nest one - three quick touchdowns!
16.39.41 LV0 touches down, another flies nearby
16.39.52 2nd touchdown LV0, two flying about
16.40.08 3rd touchdown unringed, lots of distant aerial action - could be Louis who lands this time
