Daily summary Thursday 10th August 2023
Fish galore today! Louis seems to be making up for his temporary absence, and brought four fish before lunch. He added a further one later to take the tally to 356, and next door at Nest One, Garry LV0 brought a good size fish for Affric 152. However she didn't have time to enjoy it as an unringed Osprey did a direct flyover of the nest, causing both of them to mantle and alarm call. The jury's still out on whether or not it was Prince, Affric's official partner. Night cam switched over early tonight, breaking the 10pm barrier for the first time which means that it'll soon be time for the family to start leaving on migration.
Blast from the past - on this day last year, we saw Garry LV0 for the first time when he intruded on Sarafina and Willow on Nest Two. We couldn't read his ring at the time, but he kept returning and we finally got him ID'd as LV0 from nearby Loch Garry.
