Nest One 14.35 Garry arrives with a headless fish for Affric, but she's not there. It's well munched so it looks like he had a good meal, this is the third fish he's brought today.
Affric arrives shortly after him and grabs the fish eagerly.
18.32.04 Ludo and Dorcha are at home when Louis brings fish number three, a headless trout. Ludo makes no move to take it so Dorcha, who's on the perch, and down to take it from Louis.
He departs and Ludo watches Dorcha tuck in. Will we see the whole family together many more times?
Ludo departs, will he return tonight? 19.07
Dorcha departs leaving the nest empty 19.52

23.19 Who's returning in the late night gloom? Ludo or Dorcha? (I lightened and zoomed)
Daily summary Friday 21st July 2023 A calm day weather-wise but an exciting one on both nests. Nest One had a welcome visitor in the form of Prince - Affric was on the nest when he arrived but he didn't stay long, barely a touchdown as Garry was on the way with a fish. Still, it was lovely to see Affric's (former?) partner after being absent since 9th July. Garry delivered three fish to Affric again today, and on Nest Two Louis also delivered three fish, taking the tally to 287. Ludo spent the day perfecting his flying skills and made good landings every time, and accomplished another milestone by spending his first night away from the nest. When night cam switched over just after midnight, only Dorcha was there, perched up high.
Fish number one, whole tiddler trout 04.23.13 it's big enough for breakfast as Ludo's not there! Spent his first night off-nest.
Fish number two, whole trout , arrives 35 minutes after the first 04.58.19
