2022 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 13th March; NC0(16) - 23rd March
Looking forward to welcoming back Laddie and NC0 to this wonderful location at Loch of the Lowes. Will Laddie, in his 12th season, beat his earliest arrival date that he achieved last year? Will NC0, her 4th season, be heard before she is seen on cam? Could we see the return of their 2021 offspring, LR1 and LR2? Here's hoping they have safe, spring migrations so as to grace our screens once again.

Morning All,
Another early morning 'no-show' from Laddie
NC0 took a quick comfort break just before 5am

NC0 took a short comfort break at 10:24
She could be seen making a clockwise flight coming from behind the cam
Then came back to settle on the eggs
13:00 Still no sign of Laddie visiting the nest
13:45 Another quick comfort break. NC0 gave her wings a good flap before heading off
A clockwise flight round to make her approach to the nest
14:21 NC0 currently
Where are you Laddie?

Osprey Diary at Loch of the Lowes – Week 6
17:12 I still haven't seen an appearance from Laddie... NC0's doing a marvellous job!
19:12 Such a beautiful evening, the only thing that could enhance this scene would be Laddie arriving with a fish for dear NC0
Evening Karen,
Laddie had a couple of issues with his eyes last season but he was still able to bring fish to the nest. From my recollection, he usually takes his 'time away' at the crucial stage when chicks are on the nest.
NC0 has been very quiet today, I'd imagine that if he had been in view she would have called (shouted!) for him? Hopefully, Laddie will show up early in the morning
21:26 From my observations only, Laddie hasn't been seen at the nest for 24 hours, having flown off to the birch at 21:23ish last night
Edit: As mentioned in the latest blog, Laddie has been very regular with his 5am-ish changeovers with NC0, but hasn't done that for the past two mornings

Possibly a crow on the birch?
Night cam came on at 21:23
