I looked at scroll back and it's not good news.
Yes, its got scales and a grey flank, however it is a thinner more streamlined fish with smaller scales.
This one is a Bass.

Haha, oh no, another fish type for me to learn. It’s easier when it’s a flounder!
CJ7 is certainly getting a nice variety.
CJ7 had a wee visitor to the nest this morning
I don’t know who got the biggest fright! However, it came back within a minute.
and magnified
Looks like a wee grey mullet squirrel to me - Richard?!!
022 dropping a stick on CJ7’s back to get her to move!
CJ7 quickly shifts it
15.49 An afternoon (headless) fish was delivered by 022. He made contact calls as he arrived.
CJ7 was up quickly to retrieve it.
As CJ7 collected the fish, a clump of grasses from the nest was also collected.
She had to shake the grasses off before leaving with her fish - a fine bass I would say.
Ready to go
And she’s away

No way!!! I totally thought I got it right lol
I’ll try again tomorrow
Glider said:Thanks Richard. I’m not familiar with mullet, guess I’m not so familiar with rainbow trout either then!!
Yes but you got the Grayling the other day. I call them all Mullet, unless I manage an unspecified Trout or a Flounder... Oh! And some nests have easy access to very recognisable Perch... until the day when something that looks like a Perch but isn't comes along.
Be that as it may...
You'd have thought that this was an attack rather than a loved one with a tiny stick:
