Poole Harbour Ospreys 2023 season

On the bright side Owers bay is on the far side of the harbour, halfway down, and as long as it was contained in that area there shouldn't be to much concern for the Ospreys as they do not feed near there.
It is apparently contained so the damage will become apparent. The tides are what may cause an issue.

Owers bay is only a couple of feet deep and it totally dries out at low water. I have been there many times.

Not long ago I put the landscape cam view on a screen so I could be alerted if 022 arrived.  Something caught my eye so I stopped the download to check, and as I scrolled thru I saw... a moth/butterfly? land on a branch - heehee, it turned out to be a Robin looking very tiny and singing away.  Make allowances, the initial sighting was on the full screen, this is cropped.

I only cut out about a minute and a half, not enough but it's so sweet.

PS - It's raining quite heavily, maybe 022 will stay sheltered.

Stopped raining now at 0800 so might make an appearance soon

 They've obviously got a different outfit doing the cams this season - I can't read the time !!!

Loved the robin song       I still have the  video you made of the robin song on the Arkaig nest Scylla - all  13 blissful minutes of it  - over 3 years ago, Thanks for boith.

He's on the nest looking excited, someone else arrived... with fish?

Fast moving, I say on the end of this vid that they're on the nest together but she's left now.  Same female as  yesterday?
