Good Morning. Sounds as if you had a successful outing, AQ. Hope the shoes prove comfortable. Love the quotes!

Must get going on today, myself. Have a cake to make, to take with us tomorrow on our family visit, and my OH is hoping to pick up the new tiles for the kitchen & make a start on putting them on. I do have my fingers crossed that they look how I hoped they would!

AQ -- Surprised to see on the News today that Aus. has decided to scrap the last of the quarantine restrictions, after their being so strict for so long.

Put my towels on the line, as the sky appeared to be only rather grey, and half an hour later, it poured down. Ugh. Was too busy taking my cakes out of the oven to do much about it: my OH was at the other end of the kitchen, tiling, and has made a start - it looks OK and they're a good colour, so that's a relief!

It's a real pain when that happens - and towels are the worst thing for it to happen to!  It's promising to be a suitably sunny and windy day here tomorrow so no prizes for guessing what'll be on our line tomorrow.

You picked green, didn't you?  My favourite colour, so I imagine they'll look great.

No chance of putting towels ( or anything else) out to dry today !.Heavy rain here.
Had my booster covid vaccination plus flu jab today - don't know which side to lie on, both arms are sore :-)

Ouch, Heather. Mine are tomorrow - I'm bracing myself as I hate injections!
