HAPPY NEW WEEK! I hope everyone has a joyful week. Looks like the autumn rains are coming early here this year. Lots of electrical thunderstorms last week with power outages and more forecast for this week.I woke up in the night once this week and nearly climbed up the wall because I thought a scorpion was in bed with me. It was only a very long Trig, though. A Trig is a grasshopper-like bug. That species tries to come indoors this time of year. I'm not afraid of them, but they're very loud and annoying. They make a sound like metal gears grinding. I relocated that one outdoors.

LYNETTE - I could not be bothered cooking for two; all that work just for one meal! I cook for 4 or 6 and freeze (in twos) for later days. This morn I have sausage rolls all over the kitchen - some for a "plate" tomorrow and the rest for us on lazy days.
Dau#1 recently moved to a new house and tomorrow we are invited to a'tea but <sigh> bring a plate. So many are vegan or whatever that I don't expect "real" food, hence the protest sausage rolls. <grin> Neither OH nor I are happy about the number of relatives invited. I shall attempt to keep my distance, Dau will be offended if I wear a mask. Must go or we may never receive another invite!!!
