Continued from Manton Bay July 2022

The season so far: Maya returned 15 March @ 10:21 & Blue 33(11) on 21 March @ 17:29. Egg #1 laid 31 March @ c 23:30 & hatched 09 May @ 23:02, Egg #2 laid 03 April @ 18:31 & hatched 10 May @ 12:30 and Egg #3 laid 06 April @ 20:30 & hatched 12 May @ 08:24. On 20 June the chicks were ringed with their unique blue darvics. Chick #1 was fitted with 1H1, #2 with 1H2 and #3 with 1H3. All chicks were females and their biometric data can be found here. 1H1 fledged on 2 July @ 05:34, 1H3 on 3 July @ 12:09 and 1H2 on 4 July @ 09:06.

1H1 flies off with it
09:14 1H1 joins Maya - both waiting on 33
09:15 33 arrives with another small fish
which Maya grabs
33 flies off followed by Maya with the fish
1H1 continues to fish call
09:17 Maya answers her call and returns with the fish
09:18 1H1 flies off with it
10:26 1H1 and Maya back on the nest again - I think they want bigger fish!!

As LAM says, no sign today of 1H3 who may be just off exploring the bay or she may have set off - time will tell :-)

06:01 FISH - 33 arrives with a whopper
quickly taken by 1H1

07:12 Maya has arrived
07:24 Maya has left and now 1H1 finishes up
07:29 Maya's turn of the fish
08:04 1H1 returns (can recognise her by the pucker effect under her beak)
and gets more fish from mum
09:00 (present) 1H1 flies off leaving Maya to eat in peace
10:07 33 arrives with a fish and mantling
stands for a bit - no one comes to claim it
10:21 33 flies off with the fish
I've not seen any sighting of 1H3 since late afternoon on the 12 August.
Blue 33(11) - Super Osprey
Just now, 1H1 on the nest and calling
Blue 1H1(22) is now 98 days old (and on the nest just now)
I wonder how much longer she will be here?
