05:00 no sign of 1H1 on the nest as the sun begins to rise
05:39 sunrise - official time according to met office - and still no sign of her
06:52 and first sighting of one of the girls
it is 1H3 - she is still with us
IH1 has always been the first to show and this is the first morning I have not seen her.
I believe 1H1 has set off on her migration.
07:08 33 arrives with a huge fish for 1H3
1H3 soon tucking in
07:56 Maya arrives as 1H3 continues to tuck in. What a feast she has had!
07:58 1H3 finishes and flies off leaving the fish for mum
Maya steps up and has her share
08:04 1H3 has returned and gets fed by mum
Maya then continues to eat and 1H3 cries for fish
and Maya gives her more
really is quite touching watching this as 1H3 is most likely the last of her brood still here
08:21 1H3 flew off and now
08:38 Maya continues eating taking breaks to stand with the fish looking and waiting to see if any other of her off springs appears
Morning LAM and unfortunately I think you are right that you will miss seeing them off but you could be in no better place just now other than Wales and seeing the Glaslyn family. But the stars, I would think may still be here next week and you may see them.
It is always a sad time seeing them go, but go they must and just now, Maya continues to stand with the fish ...... waiting
I'm out now for the rest of the day so will catch up later. BFN
