HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY NEW MONTH!I hope everyone has a joyful, serene week and a wonderful August! Summer is going fast.
I saw a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird outside the window of my enclosed porch this morning. I felt blessed because the hummingbirds will be leaving soon. They don't stay deep into autumn; they're usually long gone on their migration journey by the time the chill sets in here
Rusty - we had to order it for 3.30pm as it was the latest time they would do it. I would have much preferred 5.00pm! I lay awake for half the night, and felt odd - not indigestion, but just uncomfortable and wide awake. Never again! Strange windy weather here, now. Sudden showers and gusts.
ANNETTE: I am so very sorry about your sister's passing. I know you're grieving, but I hope you're at peace now. You did the best you could to support and care for everyone on both sides of the ocean. Try to get some rest. I know you have a lot going on with your daughter's move, etc., but be good to yourself. Sending you strength and my condolences.

PAT - You are so lucky to live close to ”Places of Interest”. I would love to revisit some I saw on my travels.
LINDA – That “tea” is more than a meal!!! My idea of a tea would be a cuppa plus one savoury & one cake. No wonder you took some home.
Yesterday MissJ & Dau tested positive to covid; so far Miss10 & MissL have had negative RATs. MissJ is enjoying lots of cartoons but Dau has a fever. We only saw them on Saturday and I am hoping that OH & I escape; it is almost 4 days.
Just a thought
Sometimes I talk to myself. Then we both laugh and laugh.
If you see me talking to myself, just move along. I’m self employed. We’re having a staff meeting.
