A wonderful display of lilies.

These are some of the things I bought at the show -- "pinks" as we used to call them, which I thought were a stunning colour. We enjoyed eating a delicious Cornish Ice cream before we left,  having decided we could walk no more. I said when we got home that we would never buy tickets in advance again, as although we saved a couple of pounds, it would have been better if we'd been able to decide on a good weather day!

I bought a metal daffodil to add to my flower collection, as I couldn't  afford the big versions. My OH treated himself to some metal flower supports as he is in charge of propping up our peonies and crocosmia, etc!

A memorable day but frustrating due to the weather - my fault I suppose as I had wished for some rain for the garden.

AQ- Well at least you've had the treatment now. I am going for my annual checkup on Aug 1st, it should have been January but couldn't do it then due to OH passing away, then it was February half-term but ended up in hospital, 3rd time lucky so hoping for a clean bill of health.

Lindy - send some rain down here, we are so parched. Saw the photos from Tatton, lovely displays as usual.

OG - pleased to hear you had a good night and that J is gaining his confidence at driving. Hope the prism sheet does the job and that it can be incorporated in a new prescription.
